Karma-yoga - The Path of Renunciation of Results of Actions

"A person does not attain freedom from action by abstaining from action; nor does he attain fulfilment merely through renunciation. " Bhagavadgita 3.4.

One can never set free oneself entirely from action, because the body will always need at least some food and a place to live. The message of karma-yoga teaches us to carry out all our duties, but not be attached to the results. Carry out all that you have to; but as you can never say exactly what it will bring, leave it up to God. Only then will you not suffer disappointment and liberate yourself from attachment to the material world, of which your body is one part.
For a liberated being there is no reason to carry out an action, nor is there a reason not to carry it out. Obligations, however, have to be carried out. Not carrying out an obligation by an ignorant person is cowardly and it strengthens the ego; not carrying out an obligation by a liberated person gives a wrong example and confuses the minds of the ignorant. There is no reason not to have possessions or not to accept profits from activity. Always bear in mind, however, that everything in the world is temporary, and therefore give everything in to God in happiness before you lose it in pain. Nothing will change objectively, but you will be a lot happier and freer inside.
What are obligations? Obligations include proper care for one's family, parents, children, care for one's own body. It is an obligation to do one's profession well, which sustains one and is useful to others. Charity and seeking wisdom are obligations, too. Carry them all out as well as you can. Do not expect anything from the surrounding world. This is the only way to prevent disappointment. Believe in God and seek the fulfilment of your life in Him together with the path of devotion.

Though it is true I enjoy your writing style, I don't agree with your main point of view about this one. I do delight in your website nevertheless. bekkaebcbafdbfae
Yes, you can enjoy. The wisdom is not accept point of view of somebody else, but find out who really you are. If you don't agree, you must find your own opinion, you must pay more attention and more time to realize your own truth. This is very good for you. And finally may be we will be in the same blissful state. Most important thing is our forbearance. Good luck.
