Is There a God in This View of the World?

"I am the Self residing in the hearts of all beings, and this I is the beginning and the middle as also the end of all beings." Bhagavadgita 10.20.

This is the very view of the world that the God of all religions arises from. God the creator of all things, God the giver of rules, God the equal, God the omnipresent, God the goal of all seekers. Here, God is expressed as the source of our minds, of the imaginations that we experience. God is the free sense of "I", the sense of pure existence. God is an indifferent and eternal observer. He is not inside our mind, but it arise from Him. Who achieves the recognition of this real Self, knows the God.
In the Bible, Moses did not get the name of God, but the way how to reach him, "I am the one that is." The mantra "I am" is often used in India. Its use leads to a replacement of the perception "I am a body" with "I am", e.g. I am not a temporary body but a permanent source of awareness.
Where is God in the materialistic concept of a physical world? Even there, He can be found as all penetrating, mostly blank space which we cannot see and therefore cannot examine. But He is here and we can only realise Him. He is nothing that contains everything and gives everything the rules for existence. This is the basis for the appearance of God in all religions. God is a simple summary of all the countless phenomena in the world and universe that are mostly noncontrollable.
Essentially, the external God gives the possibility and the rules to exist in the physical form, and the internal God gives the possibility and the rules to realise this existence. Both the forms of God are equally important for the existence of man and his spiritual path.
