                     Amma                     

Amma, 1953

     Amma was born in Kerala, south India. She was deeply devoted to Sri Krishna since her early childhood. This devotion caused many complications to her and her family, but Sri Krishna his devotee protected. Amma is one of the best-known sages in India now and she is well-known in the rest of the world. Ashrams are built up around all world and people can there fully devotee themselves to God and to non-selfish activities, and develop virtues as love, patience and respect.
     First ashram was built in 1981 in Amritpuri, Kerala, south India. Now are ashrams in 33 countries around whole world. From generous donations hospitals and schools are built and many supporting programs for poorest people in India.
