All the best to the year 2026

Dear friends

The year 2025 is inexorably approaching its end, and as the Indians like to say, we too are another year closer to our own death. So again, it is not such a big reason to celebrate.

This year's PF shows a troop of monkeys fascinated by a treat in a man's hand. We are just as driven by the desire for attraction and driven by aversion to other worldly things. Both have the same consequence, we forget the sublime perspective and strive for treats that will eventually pass away anyway.

But what about that? Two verses later, Krishna sings:
Those who desire to be free from old age and death, let them hide in Me,
those Brahmas know the whole, the spirit and all activities.

Don't you want to end up empty-handed? Hide in your own eternal Self, know the fleeting illusion and find the unchanging and immortal eternity. Hide to the eternal God in your own heart.

I wish you a happy, cheerful and successful new year 2026
