                 Sri Rama                 

Sri Rama, about 3.000 B.C.

     Sri Rama is the main hero of the second greatest Indian epos Ramayana. This is the story of virtue and bravery. Sri Rama is an avatar of God Vishnu, but he don't know about his divinity. Sri Rama was the crown prince, but he was sent to exile by guile. His beautiful and virtue wife Sita and his brave younger brother Lakshmana went together wit him. They lived some years quietly in forests. King of demons Ravana fell into love to Sita and kidnapped her to island of Sri Lanka. The rest of epos describe seeking Sita, building of monkey army and battle with demon and his great army.
     At the end is Ravana defeated and killed and Sita returned to Sri Rama. The virtuous Sri Rama had to repudiate her. Sita stayed long time in nearness to another man and although she never even thought about Ravana, Sri Rama cannot accept her back. He is a king, ruler and he must be an ultimate model to his people. Even Sita stayed pure and both met after dead in heaven.
     Most powerful Rama's assistant was monkey God Hanuman, son of God of wind Vaju. Hanuman's main reason for life was serve to Rama and he is a personification of karmayoga , activity without excepting any income. Hanuman proved his loyalty to Rama by tearing his chest and showing that he had Sri Rama and Sita picture instead his hearth.
