The Ride on Silver Chariots

Dear friends

There will be rides Gods on special Chariots for next three nights. You can see Nandi, the bull on Shiva use to rice, hes has some tasty leaves in his mouth. Next is preparation of Gods to go to their chariots and happy crowd of devotees. Next is Big Ganesha belonging to sacred Shiva lingam in the middle of the Temple. Usually there is not allowed to take pictures, but today is Deepam and you can take pictures as you wish, with strict exception of Main Deities of the Temple.
Next you can see Nandin going smoothly through crowd and place where is Shiva elevated to the Silver Chariot. It is heavy work for fifty men, but finally it was successful and I hope no one was harmed. Devotees before, on and behind bars welcome it with strong call Annamalai ki Arohara.
There are two last pictures of the crowd waiting for finishing ceremonies and start Gods ride around the Big Temple.
