So the full moon night is over. As the lunar eclipse is about to begin, the pilgrims stop walking, even if it is still a good time. The time of the eclipse of the Sun and the Moon is considered by the Hindus to be inauspicious. At that time, life is practically stops, temples are shut down, ceremonies are not done, stores are closed, nothing is cooked or eaten and drank. Heavenly bodies are considered the source of light and good, and if a shadow falls on them, at that moment its light and good are diminishing. When the eclipse is over, it will scratch everywhere, and then everything will slowly return to the old tracks
But back to the night, the attendance was quite great, although the timing was not very optimal, the timing started at 10:30 pm, it only lasted for 22 hours because the Moon is near Earth and will be shortened by the eclipse.
A lot of old, well-known shops have been discovered, a lot of beggars, cripples and ascetics have come to make a living at a time when human hospitality and compassion are enhanced by pilgrimage. There were also pretty little little ones on the road and of course my favorite lemon ceremony. There have also been a variety of fate and departed fables with cards and parrots. Everywhere was cooked and prepared food and drink to refresh the pilgrims, somewhere for money, somewhere as a free sacrifice. I got sweet milk and banana and elsewhere I drink sugar cane juice. There came also a special cow that grows from the back of another foot, well decorated for worship and street artists with snakes and monkeys. Above all, Arunachala was quietly standing alone
There was some week time at the Temple, my muscles shivered, and I did not even want to go. So Shiva sent me a group of singing pilgrims with drums and bells that danced around the mountain for a while. That gave me the necessary strength, "I took" them up to Sri Ramana Ashram and then went home and slept quickly after the cold shower.
So carefully, the eclipse slowly starts !!!
